History:
It is a Ford E-350 Cutaway RV chassis, built in 1991 and outfitted by National Coach. It started out life as an Avis car rental airport shuttle bus in Hawaii for two years, then they brought it back to the Seattle airport for another two years.
It was then bought by a local car club as their official command vehicle to manage and sign up folks for their events. Generally used only 50-150 miles a year until I bought it in May 2022. So it just needs age related maintenance and a bit of TLC. So as to be expected, some of the rubber seals on the windows need help or replacement for example.
It is Registered as an RV with an Antique Collector tag in WA State. Gads I feel old, since when is 1991 “Antique”.
Design Intent:
A full audio/video interview studio, along with an electronics design bench for developing projects and things on the road.
I’m building it out with 2 beds, fully equipped kitchen (I love to cook, and oh yeah, eat), and a combination Office/Studio/Workshop area. Planning on it to be mainly electric power, with lots of water / grey / black for going anywhere it can. The shower/toilet will also be hidden.
But overall, It will have a lot of very unique equipment not normally found in a RV,
